Community Service has been a part of the Girl Scout experience since Juliette Gordon Low said, "Do a good turn every day to somebody." Community Service helps girls increase their self esteem, civic responsibility and awareness of their community. Community Service also provides girls with opportunities to practice teamwork and critical thinking skills as well as empower girls to make a change in their community.
