Girl Scout volunteers share their skills with other Girl Scouts and serve in a variety of positions which fit busy schedules. Volunteers meet and network with peers who have similar interests and share in the desire to participate in a job well done. Some ways to help include:

Troop Leader/Assistant Leader

Leads a troop or group of girls based on the Girl Scout program goals.

Service Unit Troop/Group Organizer

Organizes and maintains Girl Scout Troops/Groups in a specified area that are reflective of the population living in the area.

Service Unit Manager

Guides planning and progress assessment of Girl Scout program within Girl Scout service units in partnership with Community Service Managers.

Assistant Service Unit Manager

Assists Service Unit Director in planning and progress assessment of Girl Scout programs within Girl Scout service units.

Service Unit Registrar

Coordinates registration of troops, groups and adults within Girl Scout neighborhoods.

Gold Award Support Group

Assists and supports Senior Girl Scouts earning the highest award in Girl Scouting.

Service Unit Cookie Manager

Promotes and manages Girl Scout cookie sale in Girl Scout service units.

Certified Council Trainer

Facilitates training for adults in the council.

Adult Awards Committee

Reviews nominations to recognize deserving adults with awards.

Camp Trained Adult

Assists girls and adults planning camping trips.

Family Partnership Campaign Coordinator

Promotes involvement in the Annual Giving Campaign to support Girl Scouting.

 Program Coordinator

Administers one-day events for girls and adults.

Day Camp Unit Leader

Facilitates outdoor activities for girls in the day camp setting.
